Julian | Heartleaf Philodendron
Meet Julian, the Heartleaf Philodendron.
Julian is a romantic. Not the occasional-flowers-on-Valentine’s-Day sort, either. He’s the handwritten-love-letters, remembers-the-day-you-met, would-cross-an-ocean-for-you sort.
With his beautiful heart-shaped leaves and gently trailing vines, Julian has never been particularly good at keeping his feelings to himself. He wears his heart on his sleeve. Well, technically, he wears several dozen of them.
And every single one belongs to Rosalie.
A Love Story in the Making
Julian met Rosalie, the Golden Pothos, and immediately decided he’d found his forever. She was bright, adventurous, and just a little wild. He was thoughtful, devoted, and entirely too willing to follow her wherever she decided to grow.
They’ve been inseparable ever since.
Fortunately, their relationship isn’t entirely impractical. Both enjoy bright, indirect sunlight, well-draining soil, and a comfortable home where their vines have room to wander. They can even share a sufficiently spacious planter, provided their roots have room to grow.
Julian doesn’t ask for much. A little water when his soil begins to dry, a warm spot away from chilly drafts, and preferably a place beside Rosalie.
His Perfect Match?
Someone who believes in lasting love, appreciates the little things, and doesn’t mind a companion who gets a little attached.
A Little Trouble in Paradise
Julian has always believed that everyone deserves a little kindness.
Unfortunately, Bianca appears to have mistaken his kindness for an invitation.
The beautiful Philodendron Brasil has recently developed a rather persistent fascination with him. She compliments his leaves, finds excuses to share his sunlight, and frequently reminds him how much they have in common.
Julian thinks it’s wonderful to have made a new friend.
Rosalie would prefer he make a different one.
Bianca, of course, insists she’s done absolutely nothing wrong. Surely a lady is allowed to admire a handsome Philodendron? And if Julian happens to admire her back, well, meu bem, who could blame him?
Julian has politely explained that his heart belongs to Rosalie.
Bianca has politely explained that she isn’t in a hurry.
Rosalie has stopped being polite.
As for Julian, he remains devoted to his beloved, blissfully unaware that every friendly conversation with Bianca is adding another chapter to the conservatory’s most scandalous love triangle.
“Bianca invited me to share her windowsill. I thought Rosalie might like to come too."
A Note About Rosalie
Julian and Rosalie are sold separately, but they’re happiest in the same room. While both can thrive independently, we strongly recommend introducing them.
After all, some love stories deserve to grow together.
“Wherever she grows, that’s home.”

A Little Relationship Advice
Julian and Rosalie enjoy similar growing conditions, making them compatible neighbors and potential planter companions. However, neither plant biologically depends on the other. If planted together, provide sufficient root space, monitor soil moisture, and repot or separate them if they become overcrowded.
