Meet Vivienne, the Red Anthurium.

Vivienne has never believed in fading into the background. With glossy green leaves and brilliant red blooms, she prefers a room with good light, good atmosphere, and at least a little appreciation.

She likes consistency. Bright, indirect light, warm temperatures, and a touch of humidity keep her happiest. Water her when the top layer of soil begins to dry, but do not mistake affection for overindulgence. Vivienne enjoys attention, not soggy roots.

Give her the right conditions and she can flower again and again throughout the year. She is tropical by nature, so cold drafts, harsh direct sun, and neglect are simply not part of the arrangement.

Romantic? Certainly. Low maintenance? Reasonably. Willing to suffer for beauty? Absolutely not.

Care Level: 4/10. Easy with consistent warmth, light, and watering.

• Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while very low light may reduce flowering.
• Water: Water when the upper inch or two of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain completely and never leave the roots sitting in water.
• Humidity: Vivienne appreciates moderate to high humidity, especially in dry indoor environments.
• Temperature: Keep her warm, ideally between about 65°F and 80°F. Protect her from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
• Soil: Use a loose, well-draining mix that retains some moisture without becoming waterlogged.
• Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth with a balanced houseplant fertilizer according to label directions.
• Maintenance: Remove spent flowers and damaged leaves as needed. Wipe the broad leaves occasionally to keep them clean and glossy.
• Pet Safety: Toxic if chewed or eaten. Keep away from pets and small children.

Minor cosmetic blemishes, small leaf tears, fading blooms, or temporary shipping stress may occur. Unpack promptly, place in bright, indirect light, and check the soil before watering. Allow excess water to drain completely.
